Install,
to copy an application from some source such as a CD or floppy disk to your hard drive. You might also install hardware. Installing software and hardware can either be really difficult or extremely easy. Much to often it is really difficult.

Instruction manual,
usually when you purchase an application you get an instruction manual with instructions on how to run that application. This has become less common. Now companies releasing applications have begun to release applications with text documents included not a manual.

Intel,
the leading company in making microprocessors for computers.

Internet,
includes e-mail, WWW sites, newsgroups, FTP sites, and gopher sites. The internet is almost another industrial revolution. It helps you find quick up-to-date information better than what you can find in the library.

Java,
a programming language that allows you to run a program on the internet. Java really comes in two forms, java scripts and applets. Java scripts go into the html source code of a web page. Applets just have a command in the html source code of a web page to read it. They each use different commands.
