SETTLEMENT
DAY March 27, 1997
The Hamlin Township Board met Thursday, March 27, 1997 at 7:35 p.m. at the Hamlin Townhall. Present: Griffith, Lewis, Anderson, Petersen, Voelker. Five in attendance.
Ms. Griffith called the meeting to order.
Budget Amendments, pending reconciliation, were approved on the MOTION of Griffith, supported by Anderson. RC AA MC
Bills totaling $8,594.84 in the General Fund were approved for payment on the MOTION of Petersen, supported by Voelker. RC AA MC
Bills totaling $1,319.53 in the Fire Operation Fund were approved for payment on the MOTION of Anderson, supported by Petersen. RC AA MC
Bills totaling $10,042.60 to be paid April 1, 1997 were approved for payment on the MOTION of Voelker, supported by Lewis. RC AA MC
On the MOTION of Petersen, supported by Voelker, the Board approved the Proposed 1997-98 General Fund Budget. RC AA MC
On the MOTION of Lewis, supported by Petersen, the Board approved the 1997-98 Budget Stabilization Fund. RC AA MC
On the MOTION of Anderson, supported by Lewis, the Board approved the Proposed 1997-98 Fire Operation Fund Budget. RC AA MC
A Truth in Taxation Heating was held. The ad valorem property tax mills levied by Hamlin Township to support the proposed budget is 1 mill for general fund operations and .3 mill for fire operations.
The Board reviewed the MCRC proposed work schedule for 1997-98. The Board will discuss the work further at the April meeting and make a decision regarding which road work can be completed.
On the MOTION of Voelker, supported by Petersen, the meeting was adjourned at 7:55 p.m. AA MC
