The first order of business concerned: David & Deborah Johnson of 5799 Pleasant Ridge, Ludington, MI, owners of property on E. Decker Road property # 53-007-036-031-10 described as part 036-031-00 & 036-033-00 new 1997 comm. at SE cor. of sec. th W alg. S sec. 2623.15 ft. to POB th N 0 deg. th S 89 deg. 18'57" W alg. S 1/16 line 315.39 ft. th S 0 deg. 33'27" E 1330.62 ft. th N 89 deg. 33'24" E alg. S sec line 324.64 ft. th N 89 deg. 6'16" alg. S sec. line 3.03 ft. to POB subj to rd r/w pcl. "E" on survey Sec36T19R18W - 10.015 A M/L.
Mr. & Mrs. Johnson wish to construct a storage/accessory building 32X50 or 1,600 sq.ft. Hamlin Township Zoning Ordinance 34 states that such a building will not exceed 960 sq. ft. They are requesting a size variance from 960 sq. ft to 1,600 sq. ft which is a difference of 640 sq. ft.

After extensive discussion A. Casperson motioned to grant the variance because of the undue hardship created by forcing the Johnson's to build two 960 sq. ft structures to accommodate their needs, supported by W. Karlsen. Roll call vote was taken. Casperson-yes; Karlsen-yes; Miller-no; Petersen-yes; Thomas-no. Motion carried. Varience APPROVED
