The Monday April 28, 1997 meeting of the Hamlin Township Zoning Board of Appeals was called to order at 7:30 PM by Vice Chairman, A. Casperson.

Roll Call:

The first order of business concerned:

  • Property Number 53-007-001-001-85, address 4989 Nurenberg Road, described as parcel L, part of Govt lot 4, sec. 1, T19N R18W 1.85 A. M/L
  • Mr. & Mrs. Rolfe wish to construct a pole barn for storage purposes, 40X50 or 2,000 sq.ft. This exceeds the maximum allowed by Hamlin Township Zoning Ordinance 34 by 1,040 sq.ft.

    • Correspondence: None

    Motion: To DENY the requested variance was made by J. Thomas, seconded by A. Casperson.

    Reason: 1)Lack of sufficient hardship; no unique features of property requiring such a variance

    Vote: A. Casperson Deny ; W.Karlsen Deny ; C Miller Deny J. Thomas, Deny - Motion Carried

    The next meeting will be held upon notification. There being no further business at hand, A.Casperson motioned to adjourn, supported by W. Karlsen . All members were in favor. Motion Carried.

    The meeting adjourned at 7:45 PM.
