the hardware used to call a BBS or internet service provider. The speed of the modem is measured in the transferring of data from the server.

Monitor,
the display of the computer. Comes in four different versions CGA, VGA, EGA, and Super VGA. Super VGA is the best.

Motherboard,
see Microprocessor.

Mouse,
device used to control that arrow on your display. Mice are really just a ball that rolls around with censors reading out so the computer knows which way to move the arrow.

Netscape,
a major programming company best known for their browser, Netscape Navagator.
